Family photo albums, or other general purpose photo galleries are almost always fine. Our restrictions are mainly against an archive of files, for example, of music artists, tv clips, or other types of archives that attract a large amount of traffic and cause problems for all the other users on the server.
Even the examples that we just gave as being "unacceptable" can be fine as long as they do not cause exessive use of system resources. We do not have any bans on any particular file types.
The goal of our policy is simply to ensure that everyone on the server always has fast and reliable service. Unfortunatly, we sometimes have clients who sign-up with the intent of "offloading" their popular files to our servers (ie. putting as many popular files, pictures, etc. onto their account as possible). This type of use is not acceptable. We have other plans that might better suit your sites needs and can put you on servers that are configured to handle that kind of usage. We strive to accommodate all websites, big and small!
